In the case there has been an event that deserves not to be omitted in the 4X4 world , along this year, it should be FUN OFF ROAD , the feast hold for the 25th Promyges birthday . If you still do not hear about them , Promyges is one of the most important distributor of All –Terrain accessories all over Spain , having a catalogue with more than 12.000 parts numbers, and counting with the seriousness and trust that a leader into one sector must have.
For this special birthday , it was made an event much more than interesting, a unique opportunity to get closer the competition to the keener.
The event started last Friday June, 5th , although first it was only for the professional clients of this important brand, more than 250 people reached there, getting to know the new Promyges products:

- IPF Lamps, with a wide range of possibilities, however all the range counting with the great quality that the off road use requires.
- ARB Fridge , a benchmark in design . Resistant and light material, details that makes use easier , and way of cleaning , were still unknown in the current fridge in the world of 4x4 adventure, and with a great cooling capacity , that will assure an exclusive product for people requiring excellent results .
- OME Sport Nitrocharger , that the Masía Team had the chance to try some weeks ago . This new model is called for being the king between the keener looking for economy and good behaviour at all levels .

After the presentation and detailed explanation of the product by one of the ARB team Engineer , who came from Australia only for this event ; all the activities thought for the enjoyment of the assistance started without further delay .

- Speed Area . We gave the chance to people to get on a Competition vehicle , with the driving stars, such as Xavi Foj or Frances Termes , helped by other pilots with a big experience in competition . Six kilometers of great emotion that allowed us to see the surprise faces and adrenalin of those who were brave enough to ride , and fulfil a dream .
- Trial Extreme Area. Two spectacular vehicles. The MDA spider , came from Canary Island was -without any doubt - the aim of the big majority of photos taken ; however the driving of its owner Fran and Santi Bravo riding their Nissan were also well applauded and the lucky ones riding with them , showed again their face of emotion and surprise.
- Test Area. Three Toyota Hilux vehicles , equipped with the new OME suspension and with different layouts of OME Leaf springs and COOPER Tyres(variant ATR, ST and STT) where one of the most required activities along the weekend.
- Winch Area. : A brief exhibition showing how to lift a vehicle falling from a hole, to overcome a vertical wall , a device coming from the Army Manual, named “The Machinna”, and that with the help of 2 Ramsey Winches turned out to be so single and easy task .

During Saturday and Monday all the activities of the event were repeated , but once it was opened to the public , they had also the chance to fill in any of this so special activity , being it free ; that summed up to others ; were compounding a weekend filled of action , difficult to be repeated. The aforementioned activities were :

- Sustained driving Course, taught by ATT and volunteers, near 40 vehicles came up there,
- GPS Course , taught by “Valencia Per Terra” .
- Initiation to Winch Learning Course , where the assistant took the opportunity to make the exhibition with “The Machinna” in the Winch Area .
- First Aid Area, where the President of AUTT and Clara Tejada , one of its collaborators , taught to the most fond of adventure , the rescue operation to help people involved in a driving accident , without other means than those an All Terrain in a expedition has at its disposal.
- Children playground Area , the boys of “Terranatur” prepared orientation plays , painting for the children , a delight for the youngest of the family .
- “Sahara Aventura “showed us with its booth , the most exciting of this African Trial , one of the most well known in the Nation .
- “Pegatinas 4x4” , the charismatic Jesús, labelled as he only is able to do , spectacular vehicles , two coming from our Cooper school, and a Great FJ Cruiser from 4x4 , that became a great Job .
- .As loudspeakers “Tracción a Cuatro” , the Radio program did not like to lose the opportunity to be present in this event .

It is difficult for a keener to find out in only one area such a big quantity of keeners , trainers, spectacular machines, important pilots, and moreover a Product Catalogue so comprehensive ; as it happened during that weekend . Taking a look in the quality and quantity of vehicles in the parking was enough to surprise.

From Masia Pelarda we want to thank to all that made possible to undertake this event without equal

- First of all to Promyges , and specially to Luis de La Puente, and Ángel García, to share with us the stress and problems arisen to organise such an event , where they have shown the great professional they are , taking care of every detail , apart from the public, and also the security along all that weekend.
- It is also to be remarked the job undertaken by volunteers , among them , the Autt boys , Hussiarte boys, team Tibau (great exhibition from Rafa, the kid and Rafa Priego Job ) , “Valencia per Terra”, its usually well doing , and “ Terranatur” showing as great professionals, in spite of being recent born . And at last , but not least , the Masía monitors, not having any fixed time to finish their daily job, neither any relaxed lunch time , nor even any break . Thank you very much to them all.
- Finally thanks to all the assistants and public, that could understand this event as a special time , it is worth assisting , their great behaviour and enjoyment has been the reason to be proud of the results , and sorry for those that were unable to enter this event this time.

We know it is not possible to have another Fun Off Road like this ; we should wait till 50th Promyges Anniversary , but if another is hold then, be sure we will be there, If not in our house like now, we will be there as public ... It is an opportunity that deserves nothing but praise .
